“The Fiery Tears of St. Laurent” b/w “Bon Bon” by/from/courtesy of King Khan and Pat Meteor!

“The Fiery Tears of St. Laurent” is King Khan and Pat Meteor’s tribute to French Canada. The A-side recalls the story of St. Laurent who was burned at the stake for refusing to renounce Jesus Christ in front of the King. While his flesh was burning he said, “I am crisp on this side it is time to turn me over,” an act that earned him sainthood. Shooting stars (traditionally called the Fiery Tears of St. Laurent) can often be seen above King Khan and Pat Meteor’s hometown of Montreal.
